As a mom, there are two things I want for my kids:
One, that they know and love God.
Two, that they live long, happy, healthy lives.
I was so excited to read an article in Parents magazine about some research that was done on how our kids can live the best, longest life. I’ve captured what I learned here.
8 habits that lead to a healthier, longer life.
- Spending quality time with friends and family
- Daily Physical activity
- Engaging in Nature
- Consuming water and vegetables
- Getting enough sleep (13 hours for kids ages 3-5, 9 hours for kids 6-12)
- Attend church or temple
- Having a positive mindset and believing that positive actions today will result in a better future
- Volunteering, performing charitable acts and practicing selflessness

April 7, 2019 at 8:59 pmThis is such a great reminder, Kathryn. I read a similar study about the adults with the longest, happiest lives and number one on your list was the same!
