I drive a 2012 Toyota Highlander and the back latch has been giving me problems. Last week I was driving down the road and the back popped up and a bag rolled out!
I pulled over, closed the back and realized it was my computer bag with my MacBook Pro!!! I did a circle, came back, stopped traffic to run out into the road and grab my bag.
Inside, to my horror, the computer had already been DRIVEN over. It is bent and smashed. (And only 6 months old)
I called Apple, my insurance and my credit card company to see if there was any coverage … and no, they don’t cover that kind of damage.
